CGI

CGI is a large IT company but with a very dedicated and specialized Geo-ICT team. Being originally from Canada we work world wide and have Geo experts in most countries. But the Dutch Geo team is one of our largest with a focus on helping our large clients in the Netherlands with integrating geospatial information in their business solutions.

The Geo-experts are gathering in what we call a practice, that organizes not only many meetings, but also helps in getting knowledge on a high level and working together with academic institutions and technology partners. Internships and thesis-internships things that happen all the time at CGI, with our own focused supervision and direct link with the academic institution you are doing your master. Enginear

Enginear was founded in 2013 by civil engineer Frank Roeland. The reason? A rapidly evolving market. On one side, the construction industry increasingly relied on temporary contracts, as project demands fluctuated significantly. On the other, job postings often served more as promotional tools than accurate reflections of the role or the company.

This created uncertainty and confusion for young engineers entering the workforce. It was clear that change was needed. Enginear was established to help these young engineers make informed decisions and guide them towards permanent roles that truly fit their aspirations. This mission remains unchanged to this day.
